Adobe Licensing Changes

Over the summer, NC State’s Office of Information Technology changed the policy around Adobe user and device licenses due to a significant cost increase. Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are no longer available to all staff and faculty. Instead, they must be purchased individually at the department level. Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Sign should still be available to all staff and faculty. During these changes, some unintended issues arose and are still being remediated.

NCSU OIT reports that they are in the process of adding all faculty and staff to the Adobe licensing portal to enable access to Adobe Acrobat. This process should be complete by next week, upon which any NC State faculty or staff member will be able to sign into Adobe Acrobat with their NC State email and password.
