Starting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) will require VPN users in the Faculty and Staff, Student Health Center and OIT Staff groups to authenticate with Duo Security when logging in to the service. A two-step login process, Duo will further protect Unity credentials and campus resources against cyber threats.

Students

If you are a student using the Student VPN group, you can continue to sign on to the VPN service using only your campus Unity ID and password, but are strongly encouraged to enroll in Duo.

You are reminded to use the VPN when connecting remotely to the NC State campus network to access sensitive data.
